Case Converter
In Title Case, “the quick brown fox” becomes “The Quick Brown Fox” — every word capitalised, the rest lowered.
How it works
Typed a paragraph with Caps Lock on? Need a headline in Title Case, a shout lowered to a sentence, or a meme in alternating case? Choose the style and the converted text appears in the panel, ready to copy — the original stays untouched in the box.
Title Case here follows the simple every-word rule used by most headline tools; style guides that keep small words (a, the, of) lowered differ on those words, and the method note owns the difference rather than hiding it.
The method
UPPER/lower map every letter. Title Case lowercases the text, then capitalises the first letter of each word (after spaces and opening brackets/quotes). Sentence case capitalises the first letter of the text and after each ., ! or ?. Capitalized Words capitalises the first character of every whitespace-separated word. Alternating flips case by character position; Inverse flips each letter's existing case.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Title Case and Capitalize Every Word?
Nearly nothing in output: Title Case also lowercases the rest of each word first and capitalises after brackets and quotes; Capitalize Every Word works strictly word by word. On ordinary text they agree.
Does it fix text typed with Caps Lock on?
Yes — run it through lowercase or Sentence case and the shouting is gone, with sentence starts re-capitalised in Sentence mode.
Is my text stored?
No. Conversion happens in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
